For Australian operations

Sheep management software built for Australian flocks.

Lambing records, drench rotation tracking, NLIS sheep movements, mulesing history, paddock rotations, and wool clip records on the phone you already carry into the back paddock.

Why farmers choose PaddockMateIQ

From a 50-ewe house mob in the Lockyer to a 12,000-head Merino flock in the Riverina, every Australian sheep producer faces the same record-keeping reality: spreadsheets that live on one laptop, paddock books that get rained on, and compliance forms that surface at the worst possible moment. PaddockMateIQ replaces all of them with one mobile-first tool you actually use while you're working the flock.

Lambing tracked in the paddock. Tag a lamb, record the dam, note any assistance, and the record is on the ewe's profile by the time you walk back to the ute. No transcription. No lost notebooks. No "who do you reckon mothered up to the singleton over there" at marking time.

Drench resistance fought with data. Faecal egg counts, drench classes, paddock rest periods and refugia ratios live next to each mob's treatment history. The platform flags when a class is overdue for rotation and computes withholding periods automatically — no more selling lambs into a meat hold.

NLIS sheep movements without the spreadsheet juggle. Record an off-property movement, generate the NLIS-compliant CSV, upload to nlis.com.au. Same workflow your stock agent expects. Same evidence your state biosecurity audit wants.

What you get

Mobs and flocks

Group ewes, wethers, weaners, store lambs or stud rams into mobs. Run mob-level treatments without tagging each animal individually.

Lambing records

Dam, sire (paddock joining or AI), lambing date, assistance level, lamb count, ear-tag, sex. Mortality and weaning weight follow on the same record.

Drench + WHP

Log drenches by product (APVMA-registered list bundled in), dose and paddock. Withholding periods compute the meat- and milk-sale clear date. Reminders fire 14 days out.

Mulesing + tail docking

Capture the date, age, anaesthetic use, and operator. AWI and downstream buyers increasingly ask for this — having it on file removes friction at sale time.

Wool clip records

Bales, micron, yield, broker — per shearing event. Multi-year history makes it trivial to spot drift in clip quality.

Rotational grazing

Move a mob from paddock A to paddock B in two taps. Days-of-rest tracking helps you stop pugging the same wet ground every winter.

How it works

  1. Add your flock

Bulk import from a spreadsheet, or add ewes one at a time. We support mob-level records so you don't have to tag every animal.

  2. Log work as you do it

Mark lambs at marking. Record drenches at the yards. Note shearing dates in the shed. All from your phone — works offline, syncs when you get signal.

  3. Pull reports when you need them

Withholding periods, NLIS CSVs, treatment registers and herd registers all export as PDFs at sale time, audit time, or whenever a buyer asks.

Common questions

Does it handle stud sheep with full pedigrees?

Yes — multi-generation pedigree (up to 6 generations) is included in the Breeder plan. Mating, pregnancy test results, lambing and offspring all link back to a single mating record so you can trace lineage easily.

Will it work without mobile signal?

Yes. PaddockMateIQ is a Progressive Web App. Once installed on your phone, the core screens — animal lookup, health record entry, photo capture — work offline. Records sync to the cloud the moment you get signal back.

Can I move sheep records between properties?

Yes. Properties with shared owners (e.g. agistment, leased blocks) can be linked. The platform handles inter-property movements and generates NLIS-compliant CSVs for export to the National Livestock Identification System.

What about Mulesing accreditation evidence?

Each mulesing event captures date, lamb count, anaesthetic use (CRT, NumOcaine, none) and operator. Export the procedure log as a PDF and attach to your AWI declarations or LPA Q&A as needed.

How does drench rotation tracking work?

When you log a drench, the platform notes the chemical class (BZ, LV, ML, amino-acetonitrile derivative, monepantel). If you log the same class twice in a row on the same mob, you get a warning. The drench rotation calendar suggests the next class based on your worm management plan.

Can I use it for prime lamb operations as well as wool?

Yes. The same flock and lambing records work for prime lamb production, store-lamb finishing or wool sheep. Add per-lamb weights at marking, weaning and sale, then export a meat-quality history per sale lot. NVD generation is built in for LPA-compliant declarations.
