These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PaddockMateIQ, a livestock and animal management platform operated by PaddockMateIQ ("we", "us", "our"), located in Lockyer Waters, Queensland, Australia.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These Terms apply in addition to any other agreements you have with us.
We may offer services through our website at paddockmateiq.com and any related mobile applications or API integrations.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@paddockmateiq.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We offer multi-factor authentication (MFA) and strongly recommend enabling it. We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to keep your login credentials secure.
Each person may hold only one personal account. You may not create duplicate accounts or share accounts with others (use the shared-property access feature instead).
You agree not to use PaddockMateIQ to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these provisions.
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the platform — including your animal records, health logs, journal entries, photos, property information, financial records, and any other content you create ("Your Content"). This ownership does not change when you subscribe to a paid plan, and it is not affected by the termination or expiry of your account.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the platform services to you. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, subject to any legal retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
Your Content is yours. We will never:
Our AI assistant (powered by Google Gemini) processes your queries to generate responses in real time. Query content is subject to Google's data handling terms as set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your AI query history to build profiles or for any purpose other than delivering the AI response.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We do not verify the accuracy of animal health data, veterinary records, or any other information you submit.
You may export a complete copy of your data at any time via your account settings, in a machine-readable format. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we retain after account closure.
While we maintain regular encrypted backups of our systems, we are not liable for data loss. We recommend exporting copies of important records periodically.
PaddockMateIQ includes an AI chat assistant powered by Google Gemini. This feature is provided as a convenience tool only.
Not veterinary advice. The AI assistant does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, or professional advice. Any information generated by the AI should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice from a qualified veterinarian or other expert. Always consult a registered veterinarian for matters relating to animal health.
We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated responses. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
Usage of the AI assistant is subject to fair-use quotas which may vary by plan.
Our community feed allows users to post questions, tips, and discussions. You are responsible for the content you post. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines and to suspend users who repeatedly post inappropriate content.
The marketplace allows users to list animals, equipment, and rural items for sale or enquiry. PaddockMateIQ is not a party to any transaction conducted through the marketplace. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, inspect animals, or guarantee the quality or safety of any goods or services listed. Transactions are conducted entirely at your own risk.
By posting a listing, you confirm that you have legal title or authority to offer the listed item, and that your listing complies with all applicable Australian laws including consumer protection laws.
PaddockMateIQ is available on a Free plan and paid plans (Plus at $32.95/month, Breeder at $59.95/month, and Enterprise by arrangement). Paid plans include additional features and higher usage limits. Current plan details and pricing are shown on the plans page.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. Where a free trial is offered, no charge is made until the trial period ends; you may cancel before the trial end date to avoid any charge. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
We will give you at least 14 days' notice by email before any price increase or material change to your plan takes effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
The PaddockMateIQ platform, including its software, design, branding, and all content created by us, is our intellectual property and is protected by Australian and international copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our written consent.
We do not claim ownership over Your Content. By posting content in the community feed or marketplace, you grant other users a non-exclusive licence to view that content on the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaddockMateIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we limit our liability to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 AUD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or animals.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion we will permanently remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, without prior notice or refund. We may also suspend the platform for maintenance or shut it down entirely with 30 days' notice where possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform, except where another jurisdiction is required by Australian Consumer Law.
